August 17, 2016 – Sioux Falls, SD: Augustana University athletics and Midco Sports Network® are excited to announce the launch of a weekly show called Augustana All Access. Augustana All Access will give the fans an inside look into the athletic programs at Augustana and will air on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. from August 30, 2016 to March 2017.

From the gridiron to the hardwood and all points in between, the show will give fans access to the coaches and players, highlights and game analysis.

Augustana All Access is one of 14 original programming shows produced by MidcoSN®. MidcoSN’s original programming also includes the Coyote Corner, Jackrabbit Journal, UND Sports Extra, The Northern Sun Experience, Inside the Summit League, Varsity Sports, Midco Sports Magazine, The Bison Basketball Show, North Dakota Hockey with Brad Berry, Benchwarmers, Dakota Destinations and Midco Motorsports.

“We’re truly thankful for the opportunity to partner with Midco Sports Network while bringing additional exposure to our programs throughout MidcoSN’s footprint,” Augustana Director of Athletics Slade Larscheid said. “With our longstanding partnership, we know Augustana All Access will be a first-class production of Viking athletics.”

Augustana athletics previously produced its own television show, Augustana Sportscene, which aired for 13 seasons, including seven years on MidcoSN.

“MidcoSN is excited to provide content and coverage in our new show, Augustana All Access. Our crew, led by Carla Metts as host and Max Jensen as producer, will do an outstanding job bringing weekly updates to Augustana fans,” says Mark Powell, VP of Midco Sports Network. “I’m confident that our team will excel at showcasing the talents of Augie student-athletes in all sports covered.”

With MidcoSN since August 2015, Metts can be spotted on the sideline of many live MidcoSN events and covering a wide range of schools including high school, Division II and Division I athletics. She works with the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and produces MidcoSN’s weekly Northern Sun Experience show. Metts will also continue to serve as an on-air presence on MidcoSN’s Benchwarmers show during the summer months.

Originally from Dublin, Georgia, Metts graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in communication studies and a minor in journalism.

Augustana All Access can be seen in more than 330,000 homes and businesses in South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin with Midco cable TV. MidcoSN also partners with affiliates throughout the region to deliver MidcoSN through other providers.
