June 5, 2024 – Isanti, MN: Midco is holding a ribbon cutting event at noon on Wednesday, June 12 to celebrate its new Technical Operations Center in Isanti. Community members and leaders will join Midco team members to enjoy lunch and each other’s company. The event will take place at 1810 3rd Ave NW in Isanti. 

The $4 million facility will be used by Midco’s Field Operations team and provide additional inventory space. The 70-person local Midco team has relocated from their smaller Cambridge facility to the new 12,000 square foot Isanti location, which also offers 27,000 square feet of exterior inventory space. 

Midco is also investing $1.6 million in private capital toward a $3.5 million project* to expand its FTTP (Fiber-to-the-Premises) service to 600 additional unserved and underserved homes and businesses in the Isanti and Cambridge areas. The project is supplemented by a State of Minnesota DEED Grant and RDOF federal funding. This network expansion will combine Midco’s blazing fast speeds (up to 5 Gbps symmetrical) and low latency, with best-in-class customer experience.
