Midco Invites Public to Free Day at Bramble Park Zoo

August 3, 2026 – Watertown, SD: Midco is proud to invite the public to Midco Free Day at the Bramble Park Zoo this Thursday, August 6 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Midco will provide free zoo admissions to all participants.

“Our Watertown team will be there to greet families, provide drink and popcorn coupons and hand out jelly yo-yos to kids,” said Midco Senior Community Relations Coordinator Hanna Bartels. “We invite the entire community to join us and enjoy the wildlife, soak up the sunshine and support the mission of the Bramble Park Zoo.”

Home to approximately 500 animals representing 100 species from around the world and those native to South Dakota, the Bramble Park Zoo also recently welcomed four new wolf pups: Aurora, Ash, Summit and Everest.

“We’re grateful for Midco’s continued support of Bramble Park Zoo and their commitment to making wildlife education and outdoor recreation accessible to everyone,” said Bramble Park Zoo Educator Jaime Stricker. “Midco Free Day allows more families to experience the zoo, connect with nature and learn about the incredible animals that call Watertown home.”

“This is one of Midco’s favorite events to support in Watertown,” said Jeremy Ebsen, Field Operations Manager for Midco’s Watertown system. “Free Day is our way of saying thank you to the communities we serve, and there’s nothing better than seeing families spend time together and make lasting memories. We’re proud to partner with the Bramble Park Zoo to give our community a fun, free summer experience.”
