June 15, 2026 – Watertown, SD: Midco is proud to join the City of Watertown Parks and Recreation Department in inviting the public to Community Swim Night at the Family Aquatic Center this Friday, June 19 from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Midco will provide free swim admissions to all participants.
“This is our second year sponsoring the Community Swim Night event in Watertown, and we are so excited to work with the Watertown Parks and Recreation Department to make this event happen,” said Midco Senior Community Relations Coordinator Hanna Bartels. “We saw an incredible turnout last year, and we’re hoping even more families come out for fun, sun and community this year.”
“We’re extremely excited to host the Midco Community Swim Night on June 19. This is by far our biggest event we host,” said Watertown Recreation Superintendent Josh Maag. “We anticipate a very large crowd of up to 1,600 visitors this Friday.”
All guests can expect to have fun enjoying the Watertown Family Aquatic Center’s incredible features.
“We’ve got something for everyone, whether that’s waterslides, the water playground, the lazy river, the sand play area, ninja cross and concessions,” Maag added. “We want to thank Midco and all the team members that make this event possible for all the visitors and the Watertown community.”
This is not the first community event that Midco has supported in Watertown.
“Our mission at Midco goes beyond reliable internet and exceptional customer service,” said Jeremy Ebsen, Field Operations Manager for Midco’s Watertown system. “We want to help our communities thrive because we live here, too. We help pack meals for the Watertown People Against Child Hunger (PACH) program, and we partner each year with Watertown Parks and Recreation on park cleanup and the annual zoo day. Giving back is core to Midco’s identity in Watertown.”
“We’re also looking forward to Midco Free Day at the Bramble Park Zoo taking place on August 6,” Bartels said. “Watertown is special to Midco!”
