October 29, 2026 – Janesville, MN: Midco is proud to announce the completion of its fiber network construction project in Janesville, bringing reliable, high-speed fiber internet, TV and phone services to every home and business in the community. 

“Janesville is a special community to Midco, and we’re excited that every resident and business owner can now connect to Midco Fiber,” said Midco President and COO Ben Dold. “We're grateful for the support we’ve received from local leaders, residents and businesses throughout this project, and we’re committed to being a long-term partner in Janesville.” 

Highlights of the construction project include: 

•    Total fiber: 19 miles (100k feet) 

•    Total homes and businesses passed: 1,187 

“Bringing fiber-optic connectivity to Janesville is an exciting step forward for our community,” said Clinton Rogers, Janesville City Administrator. “Reliable, high-speed internet is essential for our residents, our businesses and our future growth. We appreciate Midco’s continued investment in our community and look forward to the opportunities this project will create for everyone who calls Janesville home.” 

The completion of the Janesville fiber network represents Midco’s continued investment in connecting communities across Minnesota and the Midwest. The network will help support local families, businesses, students and remote workers with the fast, reliable connectivity they need every day. 

Midco’s commitment to Janesville extends beyond connectivity. The company will sponsor the Bulldog Backers Association’s annual Backer Bingo Night on Nov. 20, the organization’s largest fundraiser benefiting the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton School District and supporting a variety of student, athletic and educational needs across the district.
