Call Trace

Call trace helps stop threatening, obscene or harassing calls (and is available on per-use basis for a fee. This fee will show up on your next statement). IMPORTANT: Always CALL 911 in an emergency situation.

To trace a call:

  1. Immediately after you hang up the phone from the call you’d like to trace, lift your handset again, and press *57.
  2. Follow the voice prompts.

The caller’s name and number will not be released to you under any circumstances, but will be released to law enforcement with a subpoena. Normally, it takes three successful traces before law enforcement can take any deterrent action.
