April 20, 2018 – Sioux Falls, SD: Midco President & CEO Pat McAdaragh was awarded the EmBeliever award at last night’s 45^th annual Tribute to Women awards ceremony. The annual event has become Sioux Falls’ top celebration of local leadership.

The EmBeliever award celebrates a person or business that demonstrates the mission of EmBe – to enrich the community by empowering women and families. McAdaragh has empowered women by believing in them, providing them with resources to succeed and promoting them to positions of leadership. He strongly supports both Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) and the Women’s Leadership Summit at Midco for existing and emerging leaders in the company. Based on survey results in 2017, WICT recognized Midco has one of the best places for women to work.

“In a thousand ways over the course of Pat’s career, he has encouraged women to apply for leadership roles, as well as supported and challenged women to fulfill their highest aspirations,” said Midco CMO Trish McCann. “His advocacy and support serve not only as examples for women to give back, but also to strengthen their voices to lead at every table. Most importantly, Pat knows there is much more work yet to be done. His tireless commitment to inclusion is why he's so worthy of the EmBeliever award.”

I thank the tremendous women role models in my life, especially my wife, Patti McAdaragh, and my mom, Nadene McAdaragh.”
