September 10, 2018 – Sioux Falls, SD: Midco has opened a new 30,000-square-foot Technical Operations Center in Sioux Falls. The $6.5M facility will be used by Midco’s Field Operations team, it will provide additional inventory space, and it will house MidcoSN® trailers.

“We are extremely excited for the new Sioux Falls Tech Ops Center that will allow us to better connect with staff, while remaining conveniently located to serve customers," said Todd Jensen, Midco’s VP of Field Operations. "The space was built with collaboration in mind. The offices form a ‘U’ around the work area and provide an excellent way for everyone to stay connected.”

The “U” around the building includes all offices and conference rooms, and it was built purposely to facilitate teamwork and ideation to continually provide the best customer experience. The design also includes LED lighting, a high-efficiency HVAC system, a detention area to protect against flooding and a climate-controlled “drive-thru” functionality allowing for easy trailer and vehicle transporting.

A Sioux Falls Chamber ribbon cutting celebration will be held at the new Tech Ops Center this Thursday, September 13 at 11:30 am. Lunch will be provided.
