Midco to Temporarily Close Customer Experience Centers
- Date: 3/20/20
Sioux Falls, SD – In an effort to help slow the spread of the coronavirus, Midco is temporarily closing its 13 Customer Experience Centers (CXCs) by the end of the business day on Friday, March 20. The CXCs will remain closed until guidance on public gatherings has lifted (currently at 10 or more people).
Customers can continue to ask questions about their accounts and work through trouble issues by calling 1.800.888.1300, using live chat or on social media. Customers can also continue to make payments through the MyAccount app, online, over the phone or through a check or money order via the mail.
"I want to thank our dedicated team members who work in our Customer Experience Centers. They are terrific Midco ambassadors," said Midco President and CEO Pat McAdaragh. "During this period, we will be transitioning these critical team members to other customer service roles within the organization, so they can continue to provide excellent care to our customers."
Midco's CXCs are located in:
- Aberdeen, SD
- Bemidji, MN
- Bismarck, ND
- Fargo, ND
- Grand Forks, ND
- Lawrence, KS

Midco will communicate alternate bill payment options directly to customers who normally use the CXCs for these transactions. These options include online, mail, over the phone and CXC drop boxes where applicable.
In addition, we will extend alternate solutions for equipment pickup/drop-off typically done at the CXCs, including sending mailing labels to customers for returning equipment and sending equipment to customers who chose to self-install. Our customers and the public will be notified when the CXCs reopen in their areas.
In these challenging times, Midco is committed to keeping our customers connected.
