As part of its deep commitment to being a force for good in the communities it serves, the Midco Foundation has awarded a grant to the Jamestown Rural Fire Department, a positive changemaker in the Jamestown community. This grant will allow the department to purchase a new thermal imaging camera for their fire truck.

“Midco is dedicated to strengthening the communities we serve by supporting the incredible organizations that serve them,” said Wynne Haakenstad, Executive Director of the Midco Foundation. “The Midco Foundation board reviewed exceptional applications, resulting in financial assistance to 72 worthy organizations across Midco’s service area. We are truly thankful for the variety of programs that serve as a force for good to those in need.” 

As an integral part of the Jamestown community, Midco is dedicated to championing the causes that matter most to its team members and customers. Midco is proud to sponsor Jamestown Buffalo Days, Business Expo and Jamestown Kite Festival, and will be the day sponsor for Saturday June 1. Midco team members enjoy helping at events like the Jamestown United Way This Putts for U! golf fundraiser and the Jamestown University Homecoming Street Fair and is a proud member of the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce. 

The Midco Foundation Board reviews and approves funding requests twice a year. Nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply for future grants to support special projects, facility improvements, equipment and programs. Review the eligibility criteria, requirements and application at midco.com/foundation. Applications for the spring 2023 grant cycle will be accepted through March 24.
