December 8, 2025 – Yankton, SD: Midco is proud to once again invite the public to support Yankton High School (YHS) athletics during this year’s Midco raffle ticket fundraiser.  

“Now more than ever, students need our support to make these activities possible, and we want this year to be the biggest ever fundraiser for Yankton students,” said Midco Field Operations Manager Alex Nelson. “Sports are part of our DNA at Midco, and we want every YHS student to have the chance to live their dreams and compete in the sport that inspires them.” 

Raffle ticket holders will be entered to win the following prizes provided by Midco: 

• Apple 15” MacBook Air 
• Microsoft Xbox Series X 
• Solo Stove Canyon 
• EGO Lawn Mower and Leaf Blower Package 
• Retrospec Siesta Hammock XL (10x10) 
• Retrospec Electric Bike 
• Weber Searwood Grill with Flattop Insert 
• Executive Patio Furniture Glider Rocker Set 

Tickets can be purchased online for $5 per ticket, or bundled at 5 tickets for $20 or 25 tickets for $100. Supporters can also buy them in person at the YHS basketball double header on December 12. 

The raffle drawing will be held during halftime of the boys basketball game on December 12. Participants do not need to be present to win a prize. All money raised through the annual raffle sale goes directly back to student athletes. For tickets purchased online, a member of the Midco raffle committee will fill out the tickets on behalf of the buyer and place them in the drawing. 

“We are so fortunate and thankful to have Midco as a long-time partner in the promotion of our school activities,” said Yankton School District Superintendent Dr. Wayne Kindle. “They understand the value activities play in the overall development and education of our students. We know being involved in school activities positively impacts academic performance, promotes teamwork and can foster social, as well as emotional well-being. Getting our community involved with this fundraiser sponsored by our YHS Booster Club and Midco will benefit our students, plus it’s an opportunity to walk away with some very nice prizes!” 

“On behalf of the Yankton High School Athletic Booster Club, we want to say thank you to our incredible community for the support you continuously show to our athletes, coaches and teams,” said Yankton School District Booster Club member Hilary Eidsness. “Every dollar we raise through the annual Midco raffle goes directly back to our YHS athletes.” 

YHS teams use the funds to help cover the cost of meals when athletes travel, uniforms, warm up gear, equipment and much more. 

“We have one week of our raffle left and would appreciate the community’s support,” Eidsness said. “These activities really do change students’ lives, so let’s finish strong for our athletes.”
