Managing Pods
You can manage pods on your Midco Wi-Fi app.
Selecting your own pod names makes it easier for you to identify the pods and their location.
- From the Home screen, scroll to the Adapt section.
- Tap the pod you would like to rename. This will take you to the pod detail screen. You can also select View network coverage, which will take you to the topology page to select your pod.
- Alternatively, from the Home screen, select the App Settings tab. Scroll to the Pods section and select the pod you want to rename.
- Tap on the three dots on the top right corner of the screen.
- Select Rename pod and enter the new name. Tap Save.
Note: These steps are for setting up a new pod on your network. If you need to order an additional pod from Midco, please contact us.
- From the Home screen, scroll to the Adapt section.
- In the box showing your device/pods, tap on the three dots on the top right corner of the box.
- Tap Add a pod.
- While the app shows that it is "Looking for pods...", plug in the new pod(s) or wait for it to connect if already plugged in.
- Enable location access and Bluetooth for pod setup if prompted.
- When the new pod is added, tap Done Adding Pods.
Deleting a pod will remove it from your home network. Contact Midco to remove a pod from your account and billing.
- From the Home screen, scroll to the Adapt section.
- Tap the pod you would like to delete. This will take you to the pod detail screen. You can also select View network coverage, which will take you to the Topology page to choose your pod.
- Alternatively, from the Home screen, select the App Settings tab and scroll to the Pods section and select the pod you want to delete.
- Tap on the three dots on the top right corner of the screen.
- Select Delete Pod... and then Delete Pod to confirm.
