Midco Price Guarantee

Midcontinent Communications® (Midco) offers customers the opportunity to enter into a three-year price guarantee on certain services1. If you choose to enter into this guarantee agreement, your price for cable TV, Internet, home phone and/or Midco SmartHOME™ will stay the same price for three years – guaranteed. The following are requirements of the program:

  • The price guarantee does not cover taxes, fees or surcharges. These charges may change during the term of this agreement.
  • You must continue with the same basic service(s) for the term of this agreement. If you discontinue a service, the remaining service(s) will no longer be eligible for the price guarantee.
  • Prices for other services, such as ON Demand rentals or long-distance phone charges, are not affected by the price guarantee.
  • If you discontinue all Midco services prior to the end of the three-year term set out in this agreement, you will be assessed an early termination charge equal to $5 per month for each remaining month in the agreement. This early termination fee is capped at $120 and may be waived if you return all Midco-owned equipment and settle your final billing statement.
  • During a 60-day grace period from the start of the agreement, you can make changes and/or disconnect services without being held liable for termination fees.
  • Adding a service to qualify for a promotion will discontinue any price guarantee agreement.

If you accepted this offer online, your confirmation email from Midco signifies your acceptance of this agreement. If you accepted this offer in person with a Midco representative, your signed agreement signifies your acceptance. The guarantee becomes effective on your next monthly statement from Midco.

1 To be eligible for the price guarantee, you must have a minimum service level of the Basic Cable TV package (or higher package), Midco Xstream® 1.0 (or higher Internet package), Basic Home Phone (or higher phone package) and/or the MidcoSmartHOME Essentials package (or higher package). Limited Cable TV and Limited Internet are not eligible for the price guarantee program. Early termination fees in a signed Midco SmartHOME agreement still apply through the term of that agreement.
