Voicemail for Phone Customers

Instructions for how to set up, use and manage your voicemail will vary based on when your phone services were installed – or last updated.

  1. Dial *98.
  2. If this is the first time using your voicemail, you'll be prompted to enter a new password and record your name response and personal greeting. Your password should be a six-to-twenty-digit number that's easy for you to remember. IMPORTANT: Your default password is 969929.
  3. Once your voicemail is set up, press 1 to play your messages. If you have new voicemails, a stutter tone will sound upon picking up the receiver.

  1. Dial 1.800.793.5050.
  2. Enter your 10-digit phone number and then #. Then, enter your voicemail PIN and #.
    • Midco provides your voicemail PIN during service setup.
  3. Follow the prompt instructions to process your messages.

  1. Access your voicemail system.
  2. Press 3 to work with your greetings, and then 1 to set up a personal greeting.
  3. After the tone, record your greeting, and press #.
  4. If the greeting is ok, press 1. To record again, press 2. To exit without saving, press 3.

  1. Access your voicemail system.
  2. Press 3 to work with your greetings, and then 2 to set up an extended absence greeting.
  3. Press 1 to turn on.
  4. Record your message, and press #.
  5. Press 2 to review.
  6. Press * to exit.

  1. Access your voicemail system.
  2. Press 3 to work with your greetings, and then press 3 again.
  3. Choose one of these options, and follow the voice instructions.
    • Press 1 to choose a type of system greeting.
    • Press 2 to review or rerecord your name.

  1. From the main menu, press 1 to play messages.
  2. During the message:
    • Press * to return to the main menu.
    • Press 1 to rewind five seconds.
    • Press 3 to fast forward five seconds
    • Press 8 to pause.
  3. After the message has played:
    • Press 2 to repeat the message.
    • Press 4 to reply to the message.
    • Press 6 to forward a copy of the voicemail.
    • Press 7 to delete the message.
    • Press 9 to save the message. 
    • Press # to leave the message marked as new.

  1. From the main menu, press 2.
  2. Enter a telephone number to send a message to, and record your message.
  3. Press 1 for delivery options.
    • Press 1 to mark as private.
    • Press 2 to mark as urgent.
    • Press 3 to add more recipients.
    • Press 5 to request a delivery report.
    • Press 6 to request a read report.
    • Press 7 to review your message.
    • Press 9 to re-record your message.
    • Press # to send your message.
    • Press * to exit.

  1. From the main menu, press 6 and then 1 to get to your voicemails. Your deleted message will play back.
  2. During playback, there are several options you can take – or you can wait until the message playback is complete.
    • Press * to return to the main menu.
    • Press 2 to save the message.
    • Press 3 to delete the message.
  3. After the message, choose one of these options, and follow the voice instructions.
    1. Press 1 to repeat a message.
    2. Press 2 to restore a deleted message.
    3. Press 3 to permanently delete the message.
    4. Press 4 to reply to the message.
    5. Press 5 to send a copy of the message to someone else.
    6. Press # to go to the next message.

Add, Edit or Delete Group List
  1. From the main menu, press 4.
  2. Press 1 to select the option to add, edit or delete a group list.
    • Press 1 to add a new group list.
    • Press 2 to edit or delete a new group list.
    • Press 3 to review your group list.
    • Press * to exit.
Adjust Hands Free and Time Saver
  1. From the main menu, press 4.
  2. Press 2 to select the hands free and time saver options.
    • Press 1 to change autoplay settings.
    • Press 2 to change settings for urgent messages.
    • Press 3 to change your voicemail preferences.
    • Press * to exit.
Security Options
  1. From the main menu, press 4.
  2. Press 3 to select the option for security.
    • Press 1 to change your PIN.
    • Press 2 to change the fast login feature. 
    • Press * to exit.
Notification Options
  1. From the main menu, press 4.
  2. Press 5 for notification options.
  3. Press 1 to deactivate the message waiting indicator.
  4. Press * to exit.
Additional Settings
  1. From the main menu, press 4.
  2. Press 6 to select the option for additional settings.
    • Press 4 for broadcast options.
    • Press * to exit.
Advanced Call Feature Settings
  1. From the main menu, press 4.
  2. Press 7 to select the option for advanced call features.
    • Press 3 for incoming call manager settings.
    • Press * to exit.
