Sioux Falls, SD: Midco^® has been selected as one of the 50 Best Places to Work by Prairie Business magazine. Midco employs more than 1,300 people in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

“We are pleased to once again be named one of the 50 best workplaces in the region,” says Steve Schuster, Midco VP of Treasury, Risk and HR. “The fact that this award comes from employee nominations makes it especially significant for us. We know our success is due to our talented and dedicated employees, and it’s their commitment to excellence that makes this award possible.”

Annually, Prairie Business invites employees from for-profit companies in North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota to complete an anonymous employee engagement and satisfaction survey available on the company’s website. In 2016, the magazine received nearly 950 employee surveys.

Based on the feedback, Prairie Business selects the top 50 employers in the Northern Plains. Workplaces are evaluated based on work environment, employee benefits and employee happiness.

The magazine notes that “Midco employees rave about positive internal culture, generous benefits and career advancement opportunities – and that they can play an active role in Midco’s commitment to give back.”

Prairie Business has compiled the 50 Best Places to work list for three years. This is the second year Midco has been recognized on the list.
