MidcoSN to Launch Midco Sports Tonight in Lawrence

November 1, 2017 – Lawrence, KS: After months of preparation, Midco Sports Network® will unveil its new Midco Sports Tonight sportscast on Monday, November 6 at 6 PM on channel 32 (SD) and channel 232 (HD). Longtime Lawrence sportscaster Kevin Romary will anchor the 30-minute show.
Midco Sports Tonight will feature nightly stories on the area’s top high school talent, highlights and happenings from the University of Kansas and Romary’s signature analysis on all things sports. Midco Sports Tonight will showcase a new set, cameras and lighting, as well as high-definition technology.
“Midco Sports Tonight is what fans in Lawrence have long been asking for, and our team is so happy to deliver it,” said Romary. “This will be an exciting show, jam-packed with local sports content. Folks, you won’t want to miss Midco Sports Tonight!”
Along with Midco Sports Tonight airing Monday-Friday from 6-6:30 PM on channel 32 (SD) and channel 232 (HD), MidcoSN® will continue live game broadcasts that began at the start of the high school football season. This Friday, November 3, MidcoSN will broadcast Junction City High School at unbeaten Free State High School at 7 PM in round two of the KSHSAA playoffs.
Midco Sports Tonight will re-air its nightly show from 6:30-7 PM and again from 10-10:30 PM. Syndicated programming such as Golf America and Midwest Outdoors will air throughout the day on MidcoSN. Rebroadcast regional collegiate games will also air on MidcoSN.
