March 1, 2018 – Lawrence, KS: Midco Sports Network® is heading to the pitch. MidcoSN has partnered with Kaw Valley FC to broadcast all of the team’s matches in Lawrence this season. An affiliate of Sporting Kansas City, Kaw Valley FC is a brand new semi-professional soccer club that will compete in the USL Premier Development League.

"This is an exciting endeavor. MidcoSN is pleased to partner with Kaw Valley FC to showcase and promote this new league in Lawrence," said VP of MidcoSN Mark Powell. "From the call to the production of the games, we think fans will embrace Kaw Valley through the many unique stories MidcoSN will tell."

"We're very excited about the possibilities that this partnership represents and thrilled that our matches in Lawrence will be televised this season."

The games will be played at the University of Kansas’ Soccer Complex at Rock Chalk Park. MidcoSN will broadcast the following matches:

• Friday, May 25 – WSA Winnipeg at Kaw Valley FC
• Friday, June 1 – Des Moines Menace at Kaw Valley FC
• Friday, June 8 – St. Louis Lions at Kaw Valley FC
• Friday, June 15 – Thunder Bay Chill at Kaw Valley FC

All of the games will air at 7:30 pm on channel 32 (SD) and channel 622 (HD). Longtime Lawrence sportscaster Kevin Romary will be on the call.
